Stinkin Thinkin... (Fear) Power!

You go to the amusement park with your brave on. You head straight for the highest ride they have. You stand in a ridiculous line just to be the next one to board the ride; when all of a sudden you panic...you change your mind and retreat to the nearest exit. What just happened? Fear happened.

2nd Timothy 1:7 tells us that God has not given us the spirit of Fear, however He does goes us a sound mind and common sense. And let me say that common sense tells me not to get on anything that high (amusement park rides) except a plane!

Fear does several things:

1. Fear dominates strongly in our environments.
2. Fear will kill you (it is stress)
3. Fear expects the worst and not the best.
4. Fear is a counter force to Faith.
5. Fear is a demon spirit form hell.
6. Fear is of the devil who is the father of all lies.
7. Fear will bring distractions.

I have been subject to Fear and at times I must govern myself against it. Fear can knock you down, but will not knock you out!

Read these good scriptures to help combat Fear and raise up power, love and a sound mind.
(Job 3:5, luke 21:26, deut 31:6, john 10:10, psalms 53:5, joshua 1:9 and 2 tim 1:7)

Okay so while me and a few of my co~workers were in the breakroom early this morning, I began to tell them about this board game I bought. In this game there is a part where you have to tell the truth about whatever the next player ask you...it's sort of like "Truth or Dare"... but with a twist...and it's for grown folks...okayyyyy! Well One of the cards you can play is called "Lunch with the girls!" and it has several different open~ended questions on it. Like a bad horror movie pt1

Been So Long Current mood: Moody Category:  Life Wow, I haven't written a blog in forever and a day. I almost forgot completely that I had a blog, that is until the very reason I started this blog in the first place - showed me once again; how much I need to start writing again. Let's see, so much has happened since I last posted, and I have to admit - I really wish most of it never happened at all. As much as I appreciate 2012, I'm extra glad I will never have to see it or relive a single moment of it! Ups and downs can not even begin to discribe the emotional rollercoaster I was forced to endure. Heart-ache, loniness, pain, lies, hurt, sickness, debit, curses, stress, confussion, missunderstandings, no pay, failure...oh boy did I fail a lot!
