The Jaw Bite

*Due to technicial difficulties...there will be no picture this post...:(* Okay so I am now eating all kinds of health food today...let's see I have some Carrots(yum yum), some Celery(umm umm good), and some broccoli spears(tasty) all in my efforts to lose some weight...and while I was eating said food...if you care to call it that, for you see I call a big juicy turkey burger and fries food, I bit into my jaw thus causing me to think about pain. I mean biting into your jaw is painful and it will cause you to reflect on such. I tried to think of a time in my life when I felt that kind of pain before, or something close to it. And my poor little heart sent a signal to my brain that reminded me of the time when I found out that the man of my dreams was engaged to marry his current girl. He and I have never dated mind you, however, I have always wanted to ask him out or let him know how I felt, but was always to afraid. We attend the same church and we were even rather close friends a

My Inspiration...

Okay so I have decided to lose some weight...I'm not over weight, but I would like to tone up a lot. I am 5'3 168 pounds and most of that are boobs...lol:) I keep my stomach down and my legs toned, but I still would like to see better results in some areas of my body. Thank God I don't have any stretch marks...well any visible ones, cause I would just die if I could wear my skirts and dresses. Then I went to Jewels on Sunday after church with my sister friend Debbie and I saw a picture of Janet Jackson....She became my inspiration! That 40 year old woman looks FABULOUS! I know she has money so she can afford a trainer and what not, but she still had to hump to get that weight off. She was up to 198 pounds! She looked a mess. I have always loved Janet and when she gains all that weight and loses it, it makes me think I can do it also...minus the personal trainer, and millions for lyposuction...I to can be slim and trim. Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U.W.R.A:)

I had so much fun doing the last interview with my girl Millz and I received a lot of feedback suggesting I make it a series...well I was thinking about doing that anyway, so you guys were my confirmation. Well I have in the past of course talked to my friends concerning love and relationships...but never to a blogger. Well today I will and I am just dying to hear what this here dreaded up blogger has to speak on:) So welcome to the "Blogging while Black" interView! (Click on any Hassan for more details) Dee~Dee : Thank you so much Hassan for your participation...Ready? When did you first fall in Love? Hassan : Sometime in like either 1974 or 75 when my Grandmother told me to keep a journal. Picture is called: Character Bowl by Elena Ray Okay so it's 7:45 in the morning and I am at work. I had to be here early due to my co worker taking off for mole removal surgery....Yuck! And I am beyond sleepy let me say that. I have already drank two cups of coffee which is something I never drink. I figure if it keeps the snatch on 50...Then it's bound to keep me awake. I wish the was a starfish around here somewhere. Well, I find myself thinking about the series of unfortunate events that took place on last night. First off, how many remember the movie 'Waiting To Exhale'...Remember the scene where old boy shows up at Lela Rochon's characters apart drunk and begins to curse and throw fruit at her? Well that was the scene at my apartment last night...Minus the fruit. I used to see this guy named...(okay I won't put the "So Called Minister" on complete and total blast)...Some years ago. We never went out on dates, we just used to do other things...And

Okay so I visiting a friend of mine at a local radio station here in the Chi, and he was interviewing this dude from some record company ...*That's code for: I know who it was...I'm just not at liberty to share.* Anyway, I got to thinking about all the wonderful ppl and blogs I read on a regular and thought...it might be interesting to interview a few of them and see what they REALLY think about certain things. I chose Millz for my first victim...ahem! I mean my first interviewee. And I chose the ever popular Weblog as the topic. Millz and I met via this wonderful outlet and she and I remain true blue to this day. Nothing fake or phony bout this here relationship. She bees my girl! MY MOTHER...

Image
Okay so of course mother's day is coming up and I truly can not wait. I happen to be a firm believer that Mother's should be every day, and I am grateful that the world acknowledges it as the most important day aside from the birth of Jesus...and the 4th of July. I can remember the very first day I told my Mother I loved her. It was on my 5th birthday. See I heard people say I love you before and I always thought they were saying that because they were feeling something that I was too young to know about. So when my Mother would say "I love you", I would always say..."Me Too" Like that was the normal thing for a child my age to say. Well on this particular day it was my birthday and I wasn't having a a birthday party or anything, I was simply hanging out with my Mom. We went to what was at the time my favorite place to go...Venture! How many remember that store? There was something about that place and as a kid, you think your rich when you go into a big

Okay so a girlfriend of mine broke up with her guy friend and she was all torn up about it. I mean who isn't torn up at some point over a failed relationship. Even guys are hurt by failed relationships, they just choose not to let their REAL feelings show. Well, I wanted to make my girls transition from 'Separated two to celebrated one' a little smoother, so I went over and tried to make her feel better. I had an engagement to attend Sunday night, but I forewent the fabulous Sweet Sixteen party of my Pastors daughter to spend time with my girl making her feel better. I mean after all I would want some one to help me get over the spineless jerk who would break my heart. Well, I called up the other girls that we hang with to meet me over her place for some "Ricky Tick" (get over him) but they had other things to go. ..which was okay, I mean they didn't know that her so called "Soul Mate" would break her heart into little bitty pieces now did they!

Oh No She Didn't

Okay so I went shopping with one of my girlfriend the other day and Millz you should have been there. This brawd was off the chain. Okay here is what happen. We started out going to the Shoe Carnival first because me and my shoes need all the time we can get. So we spent like an hour and a half in that shoe then we moved on to Carsons which is quite possibility one of my favorite stores. I look at some more shoes in there and bought some perfume. Sarah Jessica Parkers 'LOVELY' I absolutely love the smell!!! Anyway, then we went into Wilsons (the leather experts) and SHE tried on a very pretty pink bomber jacket. I thought SHE should have purchased it, but SHE thought it made her look fat. This girl is all of 110 pounds wet okay, so SHE was just being cheap as hell that's all. Well by this time I am extremely hungry from all that power shopping, so we swing by Taco Bell and I order a Chicken Chalupa and a Apple Empananda with a Raspberry tea no ice. SHE places her order

Okay so NeYo's "So Sick" came on for the 1000th time today, and it got me to thinking about a certain someone from my past that I still think and talk about and blog about every now and then. And I can totally relate to that song, because there are songs whether fast or slow that make me think about him. I mean I can be in a store and smell the cologne that he used to wear, and instantly I will have a flashback. Now not all the flashbacks are good and not all are bad...they just make me remember and they make me wonder what might have been. *If he wasn't such a jerk!* __________________________________________________ "I am a boisterous River/I am a Mountains story/I am a quite Feeling/I am a fragrant Flower/I am a moonlit evening/ I am a Peaceful night/I am a Writer thinking/I am a Wealth unfathomed/And if you don't recognize my presence/I am here." The Double Team

Okay so I absolutely hate going places with my Mother and my Sister at the same time. Oh I love to go places with them separately, but together...I'll pass! They are so much alike they don't even know it. Each one says that the other is mean and what not, when in reality...they both are! And together they are "Mean and Meaner" Here's my story.... I was at church on Sunday and at first I was going to catch a ride with one of my girlfriends and go someplace to eat. But it began to ran so hard and me without my rain coat or being dressed properly decided to call my Mother and ask her to come pick me up. *Side Note: I need a car ASAP!* So I call her and she says she will be there shortly. Now if you know my Mother shortly means just that, and if you are not ready when she arrives....you are out of luck! That woman will leave your end trust and know. So I am outside under the the church overhead thingy so not to get my new hair wet and I must have been standing the
